A system of both preventative and curative medicine, Ayurveda translates into the "science of life". It is an all encompassing approach to a healthy lifestyle, with practices aimed at restoring the balance and harmony of the entire individual. Using a combination of food, yoga meditation, massage and all-natural herbal-based remedies in-line with your body type and personality, resulting in restored health, vitality, calm and longevity is at the core of this healing modality.
Ayurveda is everything encompassed in the 5 great elements; Air, Ether, Fire, Water and Earth, reflecting from the environment into the body through which we are able to understand the individual as a whole.

What can I expect when I first book an Ayurvedic session?
To get started, Hari Simran sees you for a 1.5 hour initial Ayurvedic consultation. In this consultation she will asses your mind/body makeup, also known as your constitution in Ayurveda and address the symptoms you are currently experiencing. A complete and full intake is done which includes reviewing past medical history, current diet, lifestyle and daily routine practices along with pulse and tongue diagnosis to get a full reading of your unique constitution The initial consultation is the starting point where Hari Simran creates a program tailored to your needs to help relieve you of any current symptoms and support you in feeling your very best.
Following the diagnosis and assessments from our initial consultation session Hari Simran continues to support you as you integrate your Ayurvedic program into daily routines. Weaved throughout the consultations she uses a form of talk therapy, yoga, meditation and ayurvedic techniques which will super charge your ability to make the changes you want. Expect to leave your session with a toolkit of techniques, recommendations and detailed step-by-step instructions for a more balanced state of mind and body. This also includes diet, lifestyle and herbal recommendations.
Ayurvedic warm oil full body massage (Abyanga) This Ayurvedic-based massage technique is designed to drain excess toxins from the body, strengthen the immune system and support everyone’s journey towards balance. Through the use of warm herb-infused oils, aromatherapy and energy healing, each treatment is customized take you into a state of relaxed, balanced bliss.
