The first 40-days post birth, also known as the 4th trimester, is a very important time for the mother to heal from her pregnancy and birth. In Ayurveda, this period is considered a sensitive time for mothers, particularly for the digestive system—hence the strong emphasis on simple, digestible foods. Traditionally, mothers are given hot oil massages daily. They are fed very simple but special foods and a number of herbal drinks to promote healing and recovery, boost their immunity and improve milk supply. Together, we will devise a care plan specific to your needs.

A Blessing way is a time for the mother-to-be to gather with the women closest to her, and cultivate positive energy for her upcoming birth experience. It is typically a ceremony for women only, Where everyone pays tribute to our pregnant loved one or new mama; to acknowledge all of her hard work and emotional/physical/spiritual output in growing and birthing her baby. The ceremony is an opportunity to ritualize this rite of passage for women through a healing few hours of ritual, blessings, guidance, healing affirmations, meditations and food if desired. *Price will be determined upon hours desired, ceremony structure and food.
